** Update - May 2006 - Taking a Break **
After much internal debate, I've decided to terminate the Atlantic Canada Hip-Hop e-Newsletter for the time being. It's been a great 2.5 years running the newsletter, and I really dig the archive of hip-hop activities that have accrued on this site.
There are several reasons for my decision to terminate the e-newsletter. I love supporting hip-hop, especially in Atlantic Canada, but I've become more & more swamped with work. As such, I have little time for my passion of making my own music. In fact, I haven't had a chance to record since last October... Since I'm getting braces put on this September, the push is on to get some recording done towards my next album (www.brockwaybiggs.com). I also want to enjoy a bit of the summer... Call me selfish.
I'm hoping that I can resume the newsletter in the fall, but no guarantees. I'd like to expand its reach by having signup sheets at venues. And maybe automate the submission process... we shall see.
It's a difficult decision, but I hope you will all understand. Much respect & all the best in your endeavours.

Every 2 weeks, a new edition of the Atlantic Canada Hip-Hop e-Newsletter is distributed via email by Troy Neilson. To be added to the mailing list, email troy(at)brockwayent(dot)com with the Subject 'achh: subscribe'.
Founded in December of 2003, this newsletter has progressively become the central source for information on hip-hop in Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick & Prince Edward Island.
The newsletters are currently text-based, with the aim to write a Java parser to convert to HTML in the future.
