J-Lo Remixes
J TO THA L-0! THE REMIXES
J-LO (JENNIFER LOPEZ)
Epic/Sony
Ranking 8.9/10

J-Lo's suffocating air of fakeness makes me love to hate her. Nonetheless, I have to admit that this remix album is impressive. Producers and DJ's seemingly create their best works when stimulated with the eye candy formerly known as Jennifer Lopez.

Often times, remix albums consist of a weak ensemble of half-hearted remixes of existing hits. J To Tha L-O! The Remixes is the complete opposite. It contains several homeless J-Lo hits, including three infectious J-Lo video hits that were not part of her past albums. The latest is 'Ain't It Funny (Murder Remix)' and the other two are a couple of my favorite J-Lo songs in 'Waiting For Tonight (Hex's Momentous Radio Mix)' and 'I'm Real (Murder Remix featuring Ja Rule).' Also included is one of my favorite summer tracks from 2000, the 'Feelin So Good (Bad Boy Remix).'

This album is definitely J-Lo's shining moment. In fact, this is the first J-Lo album that I've ever enjoyed. It has so much more energy and life than any of her previous works. It truly is amazing how one's best work can sometimes come without even lifting a finger.
