NOW OR NEVER: ODYSSEY 2000
EASY MO BEE
Priority/Virgin Records
Ranking 2/10

In his time, Easy Mo Bee established himself as star producer for big name artists. Some such artists include Tupac, Busta Rhymes, Public Enemy, LL Cool J, Big Daddy Kane, Craig Mack, Notorious B.I.G., & Lost Boyz. Despite the stardom of the artists, this album from Easy Mo Bee is extremely weak. The album consists of 21 tracks. Three of these tracks are skits, however the skits are impressive. And four of the tracks are instrumentals. So, there are basically 14 songs on the album, all produced by Easy Mo Bee. Easy Mo Bee tries to flow with an old school feel, but fails. Only two of these 14 songs were impressive. The rest of the album presented no drawing power for me.

"Fie Fie Delish," performed by Goodie Mob is the most impressive track. Easy Mo Bee gets these southerners to flow with more energy than I've heard from them ever. And it works like a charm. Rah Digga struts her stuff on "Talkin' Bout You." A slow build up to a powerful beat and raspy in your face lyrics will draw you in.

Apart from the above mentioned tracks, 'Now Or Never: Odyssey 2000' falls well below average. It lacks polishing and smooth beats. Basically, this album ain't worth your laundry money.
