When I ventured across this album, my immediate thought was "This can't be what I think it is!" Fortunately it was. A whole album dedicated to permeating the mainstream with classically funk-tinged porn music. Seemingly built around the Porn King, Ron Jeremy, I felt I should do some digging on this happy-ass character. When I couldn't find time, I was fortunate to run into an old teacher of mine, now in his early thirties. Upon the mention of Ron Jeremy, his jaw dropped with these words to follow: "Man, I haven't heard that name since high school... he was one of the biggest porn stars at that time." Those words were just the icing on the cake.

This album of "Unreleased 70's Porno Music" is a clutch mix of funk, flute and eagerly placed moans. You can't find much better than this. All 10 tracks off this compilation flow as themes from 'supposed' Porn classics. The include: 'Laying Pipe' from "Plumbers Delight" (1974), 'Spiderpussy (Slight Return)' from "Spiderpussy 2: Caught In The Web" (1976), the title track for "Cramming For College" (1973), 'Prepare For Take Off' from "Mile High Club" (1976).

I've never seen any of the movies that are associated with the songs. But if the films are nearly as good as these tracks, well then maybe I ought to give them a chance too. Overall, this compilation was pretty impressive and is a definite novelty at any party, if not for the laughs alone. For those who were at the age to fully enjoy the seventies, maybe this album will bring back some fond and fuzzy memories.
